The Amico Solar Series Multifunction Ceiling Light is designed to provide you with all the functions needed in a patient room environment. This flush mounted, multifunctional lighting system comes with up to five lighting functions in one ceiling light fixture: Reading Light, Ambient Light, Exam Light, Night Light (Optional), Chart Light (Optional).

Reading compartment lamp is protected by a clear shield

The exam area shall be NEC compliant and have an isolated wiring compartment for auxiliary circuit feed

Features

General Features

The ceiling light fixture is installed as a one-piece unit, recessed into the ceiling.
All lamps are accessible for replacing without tools

Reading Light

The Reading Light provides downward illumination directly onto bed.
No direct glare to patient or visitors. (7 fc maximum at head of bed. 15 fc maximum at foot of bed.)
No reading light spill-over to adjacent bed (2 foot/candles maximum at head of adjacent
Lamps: One 40W Biax (supplied by others)

Ambient Light

The Ambient Light provides general soft illumination without glare.
Indirect illumination from wall directly behind patient provides glare-free lighting.
No direct glare to adjacent patients or visitors. (3 fc maximum on wall behind adjacent patients bed.)
Lamps: Two 40 W Biax (supplied by others)

Exam Light

The Exam Light provides full illumination over entire bed area.
Excellent color rendition.
Wired for independent switching (1 or 2 circuit).
Optional louvre or lens frame.
Concealed hinging and latching.
Lamps: Four 40-watt Biax supplied by others

Night Light (Optional)

The Night Light provides warm, soft illumination in a dark room.
Lights night stand between beds.
Field adjustable for either right or left.
No glare to any patient.
Wired for independent switching.
Lamps: One 24W white LED 120V or 277V

Chart Light (Optional)

The Chart light can be pre-positioned to illuminate either side of the bed.
Lights night stand between beds.
Field adjustable for either right or left.
No glare to any patient.
